More than 100 Airmen with the 433rd Airlift Wing participated in PACIFIC RUGGED ANVIL, a 96-hour training exercise held Sept. 11–14, 2026, during the unit’s training assembly, according to the Defense Department’s DVIDS account.

Led by the 433rd Civil Engineer Squadron, the exercise took place at PACER FORGE, an Air Force field training site. It tested the unit’s Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force (Prime BEEF) combat readiness, the account said.

Airmen worked in a simulated deployed setting, establishing expeditionary campsites, practicing mobilization procedures and completing wartime training tasks. Members of the 433rd Security Forces Squadron and other mission partners worked alongside civil engineers in activities supporting air base operations, defense and recovery.

The exercise dates preceded the source’s publication on Oct. 13, 2026; it is a report on a completed training event, not a new breaking development.
