Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion left the team’s Oct. 11 game against the New York Jets after a first-quarter collision with safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, according to the licensed report.
The report said Fitzpatrick was penalized for hitting a defenseless receiver. Concepcion remained on the field for several moments, then walked off under his own power and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. The report did not provide further information about his condition.
The incident came as Cleveland tried to respond to New York’s early 7-0 lead. The Browns scored a field goal on the drive, the report said.
Concepcion was a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He entered the matchup with 17 receptions for 144 yards, according to the source. Fitzpatrick was in his first season with the Jets and had recorded 16 tackles and one interception, the report said.
The game was played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The source described the conditions as rainy and wet.
