Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and singer Taylor Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. The Chiefs won 22-6, remaining undefeated, according to the supplied report.
Swift watched from her regular stadium suite alongside Clark and musician Este Haim. During the CBS broadcast, cameras showed the group celebrating a reception by Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce recorded four catches for 53 yards. Running back Kenneth Walker III led Kansas City’s ground game with 128 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns.
The appearance was not the first time Clark and Swift have been seen together at a Chiefs game. The report says Clark joined Swift in the suite around the same time the previous year, among a group that included Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce.
Clark has described herself as a Chiefs fan and said she enjoys football. In comments quoted from an appearance on Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe’s “A Touch More” podcast, she recalled explaining a penalty call to Swift during a Chiefs playoff game in January 2025. Clark said she was trying to explain why a flag had been thrown, while acknowledging she did not know everything about the sport. She also said she enjoyed spending time with Swift and noted that Kelce played well in the Chiefs’ win that day.
In an interview with ESPN in May 2025, Clark praised Swift’s manner toward others, saying she treats people with the same kindness. The report also noted Swift attended the Academy Museum Gala on Saturday night, an event described as supporting fundraising for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
Clark’s WNBA season had ended before the Chiefs game. Indiana was eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the first round of the playoffs, losing Game 3 by a score of 94-83. Clark scored 18 points, shooting 6-for-18 from the field and 3-for-12 from three-point range. She averaged 22.3 points and 8.3 assists over 40 games, the report said.
The WNBA Finals matchup was between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries. The report said Golden State won Game 1 at home and that Game 2 was scheduled for Monday night in California.
