A Drudge Report feed item published Oct. 12, 2026, used the headline “WANTS TO RENAME OCEANS...” and linked to a page whose URL refers to President Donald Trump and a possible “Trump Ocean” name.
The feed text provided contains no article details, direct remarks, or confirmation that Trump proposed renaming the Atlantic or Pacific oceans. It is therefore not possible to establish from this material what was said, when it was said, or whether the headline accurately characterizes an event. The item should be treated as an unverified headline rather than a confirmed policy announcement.
