Fox News Deals’ Oct. 14 newsletter collected shopping offers for fall, Halloween and the approaching Christmas season. The publication said it may receive compensation or commissions when readers buy through its links, a disclosure relevant to the product recommendations and prices presented.
The newsletter highlighted a Bedsure faux-fur blanket listed at $36, described as 55% off, as a cold-weather home item. Halloween suggestions included a spooky tree inflatable priced at $44, purple-and-orange string lights listed for $20, and a fog machine. It also promoted a six-piece skeleton set for $9.99 and a remote-controlled swinging ghost for $23.99, described as 52% off.
A featured candy offer was a five-pound bag of Halloween candy for $19.99, identified as half off the stated $40 price. The newsletter said readers could use the code FOXNEWSDEALS and receive free shipping. It listed chocolate assortments, sweet-and-sour candy and Twizzlers among the choices.
For shoppers planning ahead for Christmas, the newsletter included gingerbread ornaments priced at $5.99 and a pre-lit National Tree Company Dunhill fir listed at $280, with a stated 59% discount. Other seasonal selections included an inflatable pumpkin tower priced at $32.99 and described as 34% off.
The newsletter also included recommendations from three commerce staff members, each presented as a personal purchase or preference. Commerce writer Julia Fields described a pumpkin candle with a vanilla scent. Commerce editor Caitlyn Martyn said she bought a Shark Pet vacuum during October Prime Day and found that it picked up dust and soot in her apartment. Jenny Opt’Holt, vice president of commerce partnerships, said she purchased a lightweight cropped trench for California’s fall weather.
Additional links promoted beauty advent calendars, cleaning products and Apple deals. The newsletter listed several other promotions: a 25% discount when buying three eligible items, including certain kitchen appliances; savings of $50 on purchases of at least $1,000 or $100 on purchases of at least $2,000 using specified codes through Dec. 31; and a 30% sitewide Dearfoams discount with the code FRIENDS.
The prices and discount claims are those stated in the promotional newsletter. The source material does not independently establish product availability, offer terms beyond the details provided, or whether prices remained unchanged after publication.
