Fox News Digital ranked first among news brands in several audience measurements during the third quarter of 2026, according to figures from Comscore cited by Fox News. The outlet recorded 4.6 billion multiplatform views, ahead of The New York Times at 3.8 billion and CNN at 1.3 billion. CBS News, NBC News and ABC News each recorded fewer than one billion views, the report said.
In multiplatform minutes, Fox News Digital generated 10 billion, compared with 3.1 billion for The New York Times. Fox News said those results extended its run as the leading news brand to 17 consecutive quarters for views and 22 consecutive quarters for minutes.
The outlet also reported an average of 170 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors during the quarter, an 11% increase from the third quarter of 2025. It said it averaged 76 million desktop and mobile unique visitors, leading the news brands in that category. The source cautioned that Fox News Digital, CBSNews.com, NBCNews.com, WashingtonPost.com and ABCNews.com participate in Social Incremental in Total Digital Multiplatform Unique Visitors, while CNN.com and NYTimes.com do not. That difference in participation is relevant when comparing the unique-visitor figures.
Fox News, citing the same measurement data, said CNN had its lowest quarter since 2015 in average total digital unique visitors, multiplatform views and multiplatform minutes. The source provided no underlying figures for CNN’s unique visitors. It also reported that the Fox News mobile app averaged 6.5 million unique viewers, compared with 2.7 million for CNN’s app.
For YouTube, Fox News Media said it ranked as the top news brand for the eighth consecutive quarter, based on Emplifi data. The company’s news videos received 918 million views. MS NOW was next at 889 million, followed by CNN at 712 million, ABC at 442 million, NBC News at 356 million and CBS News at 149 million.
Fox News Media’s combined platforms registered 1.2 billion YouTube video views, according to the source. Separately, Fox Business generated 140 million YouTube views. The report attributed that business-news ranking to Comscore Social and said Fox Business had led its competitors in the category for 27 consecutive quarters.
Fox News also led the cited social-interaction measure for the quarter, based on Emplifi and Comscore Social data. It recorded 290 million interactions overall, including 90.7 million on Facebook, 55.9 million on Instagram and 14.7 million on X. The supplied report did not detail the remaining interactions by platform.
The figures are presented by Fox News from third-party measurement services. The source does not include independent verification or a full account of the measurement methods, and it notes differing participation in one unique-visitor metric. These qualifications should be considered alongside the reported rankings.
