Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams posted a profane message directed at the Department of Homeland Security after the agency defended federal immigration officers and responded to her criticism of ICE at a concert in Chula Vista, California.

Williams shared a screenshot of the agency’s response on Instagram Story. Rolling Stone reported the wording of her reply. Fox News Digital said it contacted DHS about the latest post but did not immediately receive a response.

The exchange began after Williams criticized Immigration and Customs Enforcement during a performance of her song “Ice in My OJ.” A DHS spokesperson said Americans were grateful to federal law enforcement officers and suggested Williams thank them for their service rather than belittle their sacrifice.

Williams also voiced support for Palestinians during the concert. Her comments were among several political messages she has made during performances. At a September show in New York, she called Christian nationalism a threat to American democracy. Lisa Cusack, president of the Don’t L.A. My Burbank PAC, disputed that characterization in a statement to Fox News Digital.

DHS data cited in the report recorded 647 assaults against ICE personnel from Jan. 20, 2025, through Sept. 20, 2026, compared with 37 during the corresponding dates in 2021 and 2022. The figures and the agency’s stated comparison are attributed to DHS.

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin has previously defended ICE officers conducting the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement operations, saying they were under attack. The report did not provide an agency response to Williams’ latest post.
