NASA has published an infographic comparing the distances traveled by several robotic rovers on the Moon and Mars. The agency’s description says the figures for Mars rovers Perseverance and Curiosity reflect their travel through Oct. 11, 2026, while both remained operational.

NASA said Perseverance had passed the distance record held by Opportunity. The older rover made its final stop in 2018, after covering about 28.1 miles (45.16 kilometers), according to the NASA description.
