TNA Wrestling said Monday that Max Caster would no longer wrestle for the company after his entrance at Sunday’s Bound for Glory event included a reference to a deadly attack in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Caster, making his TNA debut after a run with All Elite Wrestling, performed a rap during his entrance for a match against Moose. In a lyric, he referred to a “firing squad,” dropping bombs and not needing to fly to Riyadh.

The source report said the attack at King Khalid International Airport over the weekend killed more than a dozen people. It reported that the Iran-backed Houthis claimed responsibility.

TNA called Caster’s remarks insensitive and said making light of violent attacks was wrong. The company said the segment should not have been included in the show and accepted responsibility for that failure. It also expressed sympathy for victims, their families and others affected.

The company said it removed the segment from replays and its social media channels and was taking steps to prevent a recurrence. It also said Caster would no longer wrestle for TNA.

The source report said Caster faced backlash on social media and that the outlet sought comment from him.
