Wingstop is adding a candy-inspired option to its menu for Halloween. The chain announced a partnership with Mondelēz International’s Sour Patch Kids brand to introduce Sour Patch Kids Wicked Punch, a wing flavor combining Redberry glaze with chopped candy pieces.
The product is scheduled to reach participating U.S. restaurants on Oct. 27. Club Wingstop members will have access beginning Oct. 23, according to the company. Customers will be able to order through Wingstop’s app and website or at participating locations while supplies last. The limited-time menu item is set to end Nov. 5.
Wingstop CEO Michael Skipworth described the flavor as a combination of sweet and sour in a company statement. Lauryn McDonough, a senior director of candy at Mondelēz, said the launch is part of Sour Patch Kids’ “13 Days of Mischief” program.
The announcement drew mixed reactions on social media, with some users expressing interest and others questioning the combination, according to the source report.
Wingstop said it operates more than 3,000 restaurants worldwide and recorded more than $5 billion in systemwide sales in fiscal 2025. The company was not immediately available for additional comment, the report said.
